1. an intradermal test to detect sarcoidosis, done by injecting Kveim antigen (obtained from spleens of patients with sarcoidosis) and examining skin biopsies after 3 and 6 weeks; a positive test result is indicated by typical nodules showing evidence of sarcoid tissue.
