Description
A surgical item consisting of a hollow cylinder which may have features for anchoring, positioning, and is designed for irrigating, intubating, or inoculating. It is inserted into a natural opening of the human body for diagnostic exploration, observation, therapeutic administration of medication, or to facilitate the escape of fluids from cavities.
