1. diarrhea characterized by severe, watery, secretory diarrhea and hyperkalemia; most patients have hypercalcemia, many have hyperglycemia; results from excessive secretion of vasoactive intestinal peptide by an islet cell tumor of the pancreas. Sometimes called WDHA syndrome.
