Aneurysm Shunt Catheter
Definition:
A sterile, disposable item designed for use during abdominal and thoracic bypass surgical procedures. It is transparent to permit observation of bubble entrapment and blood flow. The entire lumen and outer surface of the tip shall be coated with a heparin complex to inhibit catheter-induced blood clot formation.
