Arm Restraint

Definition:
An item designed to securely wrap around the entire arm from wrist to axilla to hold the arm in a rigid position to support fractures during examination, surgery and/or medical treatment. It may also be used for intravenous or scalp vein feedings, and helps avoid disturbing operating sites or dressings.
