Definition:
Consists of three paper strips to a set, impregnated with bacterial spores, two of which are used as test strips and one as a control strip. Strips are individually enclosed in plastic envelopes and two strips are placed in the test section of a paper envelope while the control strip is placed in the control section. Item is used to provide a biological index for use in determining the efficiency of sterilization.
