Capillary Membrane Oxygenator
Definition:
An item with related software which is used intraoperatively on all open heart procedures. It contains a custom tubing pack with hemodynamically designed venous reservoir, bypass filter, bubble trap, non-turbulent physiologic gas exchange, independent control of P02 and PC02, integral convenience features, priming, built-in heat exchanger, closed single pump system, arterial/gas outlet, venous inlet/gas inlet, and other related items.
