Cardiac Pacemaker

Definition:
An external, noninvasive, temporary, desk top type item for use in heart rate, pacing rate from an output current, and to allow the operator to determine if the unit is operating from AC line power or battery. May include carrying case, operator adjustable, rechargeable battery, pacing threshold, demand or demand/fixed rate pacing mode, pacing pulse, pregrelled, high impedance disposable electrodes in adult/pediatric sizes, electrocardiograph lead/pacer electrode fault and battery charging indicator, and other related features.
