Case

Definition:
2. (Equipment and/or carrying) A container designed to hold a specific item(s) in a fixed position by virtue of conforming dimensions and/or attachments. The item(s) which it is designed to contain is complete in itself for removal and use outside the container. However, the case may be constructed so as to permit the use of the item(s) without removal. It does not include the item(s) it is designed to accommodate. It may have such carrying facilities as handle(s), handstrap(s), sling(s), shoulder straps(s), belt attachment(s), and the like.
