Catheter Dilator-Sheath Assembly

Definition:
An item designed to facilitate the placement of biliary and ureteral catheters or stents. It is for use in cases where buckling of the stent is likely to occur such as crossing areas of tight stenosis or when softer catheter/stent materials are used. May include coaxial locking tapered dilator/sheath for superior single handed control, molded breakaway sheath handle provides an easy-to-grip surface, large diameter sheath which permits free passage of catheter or stent, and other related features.
