Definition:
A lightweight, disposable, sleeping bag type device. This item is designed for use in protecting the uncontaminated or decontaminated litter patient from chemical warfare agents for a minimum up to six hours. It is fabricated of a carbon impregnated permeable top sheet and impermeable bottom sheet. May include two zipper closure to access the patient, transparent window to observe patient, medical card holder, port to provide a protective entry way for intravenous tubing, sleeves attached along each side with hand poles, and other related features.
