Definition:
A long, sterile, rectangular strip of silicone elastomer material, designed to be used around the eye globe to hold implants in place in the scleral buckling procedure in reattaching the retina to the choroid during retinal detachment surgery. Item is for use with TIRE, IMPLANT, RETINAL.
