Colon Decompression Kit
Definition:
A collection of items which may include a drainage catheter, wire guide, and other related items. It is designed for use in colonoscopic surgical procedures to relieve an abnormally large colon. It also can be used in other areas, such as colonoscopic decompression in toxic megacolon, pseudo obstruction, and decompression of the colon proximal to a stricture.
