Cystourethroscope
Definition:
An endoscopic instrument for internal visual examination of both the urethral area and urinary bladder. It is comprised of sheath(s), obturator(s), bridge(s), stopcock(s), and lateral viewing and forward-oblique viewing telescopes. It may include a teaching attachment. It contains provisions for irrigating and may include facilities for catheterization and other types of treatment.
