Dressing Protector
Definition:
A waterproof item which is designed with two main types. One is rectangular with adhesive around the perimeter for surgical wounds and injuries around the torso. The second is the bag shape with adhesive around the open end for surgical wounds, intraveneous transfusion (IVT) protection of the dressing when showering, injuries and fractures to the limbs, and the like. This item is applied over dressings to keep them dry.
