Endobronchial Tube
Definition:
An elastic monoluminal or biluminal tube with balloon(s) and corresponding pilot bags. The forward section has one or more openings and may accommodate a spurlike appendix. It is used for endobronchial intubation, collapse therapy, or for draining the tracheobronchial system during lung surgery.
