Extrication Litter-Splint

Definition:
A radiolucent, full body type item, designed to be used for total immobilization, extrication, and transport of injury victims. May consist of outer plastic shell with core of rigid polyurethane foam, hook-and-pile restraint straps, and other related items. This item can be used to fit inside a stokes wire basket-type litter, and is capable of floating a heavy person.
