Definition:
A reinforced, non-adhering gauze compress designed for covering a bodily injury resulting from exposure to heat, caustics, electricity, or certain radiations. It may be treated. It is designed to facilitate emergency care or treatment of a burn prior to the availability of regular medical aid.
