Full Body Vacuum Splint Air Evacuation Cover
Definition:
A reusable item which is a component part of the full body splint system. Included are head restraints for the forehead and chin which are used for securing the patient's head without standard taping of the forehead. It has a second valve opening at the head end for vacuuming and adjustment of the splint. There are reflective strips around the perimeter of the cover which makes it easy to locate the body splint when air lifting a patient at night. The reflective strips can be detached from the cover when used in a hostile environment.
