Definition:
An item designed for administration of gas anesthesia to patients during surgery. It consists of a mobile or portable assemblage containing a stand to accommodate gas cylinder(s), a control head, a rebreathing bag, and flowmeter(s). It may include a handle, carbon dioxide absorber, pressure gage(s), and carrying case.
