Hygroscopic Humidifier

Definition:
An item constructed of a cellulose sponge around a synthetic felt material. It is designed to be used for heating and humidification of inspiratory gases during intensive care respiratory therapy or the administration of anesthesia. It may be bacteriostatic, and have a internal diameter cone connector on the patient side and on the equipment side.
