Hyperalimentation Dressing Set

Definition:
A hyperalimentation/central line dressing change tray which may consist of acetone alcohol swabsticks, gloves, central supply overwrap, nonwoven sponges, medical tape, povidone sodium ointment, nonadhering pad, and other related items. It is designed for maintenance care of the central venous catheter for applications such as triphosphopyridine nucleotide (TPN), chemotherapy, antibiotic therapy, fluid replacement, and frequent blood drawing.
