Infant Positioning Aid

Definition:
A cushion type item designed for use in cradling babies soon after birth. Supporting and positioning of the head may be beneficial to alleviate dollchocephaly. It also gently yields to active movement while still retaining its supportive position. May provide a warming/cooling effect when placed next to the skin. It is usually manufactured from soft material, filled with a non-toxic elastomer gel.
