Intrauterine Injection Catheter
Definition:
An item designed to be used for injection of contrast medium into the uterus and fallopian tube(s) for hysterosalpingography, or for the injection of methylene blue dye into the uterus and fallopian tube(s) during laparotomy, tuboplasty, and/or tubal anastomosis procedures. May include a latex balloon which stabilizes the catheter in the uterus.
