Ladder Wire Splint
Definition:
An item consisting of a wire frame and crosspieces, cut to predetermined lengths, the frame bent to form an open three-sided rectangle, and the crosspieces placed parallel at right angles, and equally spaced, to the length of the frame. Used to support a fractured bone.
