Laryngeal Stent

Definition:
A silicone rubber like material, designed for use in stabilizing the larynx following laryngeal fracture or reconstructive surgical procedures. May include buttons for securing stent suture to the outside of the neck, and can be molded to fit the average female's or male's larynx depending on the size.
