Definition:
A sterile, disposable item with luer lock on distal end. It is designed to puncture preslit interlink latex vial injection site. May include a mechanism to connect to the luer-lock of a syringe and provide a rigid plastic access to a latex port of an intravenous tubing or vial access cannula.
