Nephrostomy Tube
Definition:
An item that consists of a through-and-through silicone tube for renal drainage and a dependent drainage tube for attachment to a urine collection device. It may also be used for patients with neurogenic bladders, stenosis or obstruction of ureteropelvic junction and hydronephrosis.
