Orthopedic Locking Screw-Nail

Definition:
An item designed to accurately and simply align, reduce, and securely fix long bone fractures of the femur during implant orthopedic surgical procedures. It may have proximal and distance holes that allow cross screws to be inserted, which lock the nail in place to help prevent rotation or displacement of fragments. Item may also be used in either the left or right femur.
