Definition:
A device consisting of a U-shaped base, supporting vertical mast, boom, and a hydraulic hand-operated device, mounted on wheels. The base may be adjustable. The item is designed to accommodate steering handle and may be furnished with or without handle. It is used in transporting or lifting hospital and/or disabled patient between wheelchair, bed and automobile seat.
