Postnasal Balloon
Definition:
A self-retaining, disposable item designed to control severe nasal and nasopharyngeal bleeding. May also be used in draining clogged sinuses. It may include a noncollapsible latex bulb at the interior portion of the balloon which remains outside the nose to prevent the device from slipping posteriorly.
