Radiographic Grid
Definition:
An item made with alternating strips of lead and an X-ray transmitting material arranged lengthwise or in a crosshatch pattern and protected with top and bottom covers. It may be bound in a metal frame when not designed to be built into a cassette. It is used with X-ray accessories.
