Surgical Positioning Pad
Definition:
A surgical positioning item, designed to be molded to hold the patient in a stable and secure manner for use on an operating table. It is constructed of a vacuum, U-shaped, rubberized plastic, filled with plastic beads, and includes an automatic valve for applying vacuum which solidifies the pad.
