Definition:
A collection of items designed for neonatal suctioning in order to guide and determine the proper distance for insertion of the catheter. It may also enable the clinician to advance the catheter accordingly by providing a margin of safety and potentially reducing the incidence of pneumothorax. May include calibrated catheter, looped, vinyl glove, and other related items.
