Definition:
A one-piece construction, preconnected to a lumen to allow a smooth flow path to prevent clogging from clots, bone chips, cement and vomit suctioning during cardiovascular, chest abdominal, orthopedic, trauma surgery oral suctioning in emergency room, ambulance, or anesthesia and other types of surgical procedures. May be available with or without control vent for continuous or intermittent suctioning.
