Surgical Wound Closure Skin-Stretching System

Definition:
An item used as an aid in closing wounds involving skin deficits, such as removal of a skin lesion or used pre-operatively to expand skin and bring the skin margins together so that it may be safely sutured or stapled during surgical procedures. May consist of corrosion resisting nonmetallic pins, closure device and two straight introdermal needles that are inserted along the margins of the wound.
