Toe Implant
Definition:
A double, stemmed, flexible hinge item, designed to be used for reconstruction of the first metatarsophalangeal joint. May be used in cases of moderate to severe hallux valgus deformity secondary to rheumatoid arthrites and also in cases of bony destruction both sides of the joint during orthopedic surgical procedures.
