Definition:
An item of flexible or rigid foam designed for various orthopedic uses. When in flexible, cushiony form, may ease discomfort caused by irritation, bruises, and shoes. In more rigid form, may be used to adapt various sizes of pens, pencils, utensils, toothbrushes, and the like for use by handicapped patients. May be in roll or tubular form, from which individual sleeves may be cut.
