Vaginal Tenaculum

Definition:
A slender, hooked, long handle instrument needed to perform loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) for use in the physician's office. It is designed to remove tissue specimen in treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), or cervical lesions.
